Shopify Adds estimatedShippedAt to Fulfillment API in 2025-07

What Changed

Shopify has introduced a new estimatedShippedAt argument to the FulfillmentOrderAcceptFulfillmentRequest mutation, available starting with API version 2025-07. This argument allows fulfillment service apps to specify their estimated fulfillment date when accepting Fulfillment Requests. Shopify Fulfillment Network partners are now expected to provide this value as part of their standard integration.

Why This Matters

For fulfillment service developers, this change improves order visibility and customer communication. By providing estimated shipping dates upfront, apps can give merchants and their customers more accurate delivery expectations, reducing support inquiries and improving transparency throughout the fulfillment process. This is particularly important for Shopify Fulfillment Network partners who need to maintain high service standards and keep stakeholders informed of fulfillment timelines.
