Older versions will continue to function, but dedicated documentation will no longer be maintained for versions outside this window.

Since Shopify CLI already prevents deployments targeting API versions older than 12 months, this policy aligns developer tools with documentation availability. Keeping your extensions on a supported version ensures you have access to up-to-date reference materials and can take advantage of the latest features and security improvements.
